Music is the most important element of Capoeira.
They are singing during their performance.
Let's learn this Afro-Brazilian art from their music!
I can see you're flying! What is this song and art of fighting!

Thanks for your appreciation!
ReplyDeleteBeijos
Oh I have heard of this dance-exercise thing. But those people looked like they're fighting their opponents.
ReplyDeleteCapoeira is a dance-exercise and they are not really fighting!
ReplyDeleteActually they were really enjoying their performance!
I really like the effects of movements in these photos! A third series is a success!
ReplyDeleteBye**
Interesting song!
ReplyDeleteIs that Brazilian Portuguese?
Portuguese sounds quite difficult to pronounce!
Spanish is easier! And it's more useful?! ;)
Thanks Mahon! Some pictures I use lower shutter speed,
ReplyDeleteso you can feel some action of them!
I'm glad that you appreciate these photos!
Thanks London Caller,
ReplyDeleteThis is Brazilian song called Lá lauê!
Brazilian is very smiliar to portuguese,
even more similar to spanish...
the song and pic makes me feel i shud take up capoeira. hahaha
Thanks Lily Riani! I remember you like some
ReplyDeletejumping and kicking pose!
Capoeira will be a great exersice for you!
definitely agree that music plays a very important role...even the audiences will enjoy better and deeper :)
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that their "belts" are very special!
ReplyDeleteSome are red, blue and green...
Like Judo?
Keeps getting better! Like much of his work. Genial!
ReplyDeleteThe third series of "Capoeira" are fabulous. A report just fine as a professional can do with technique, creativity and sensitivity. I am not a professional photographer, but I'm a good lover.
ReplyDeleteThanks FuFu! I'm glad that you like it!
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for your Capoeira photos in Brasil!
To London Caller,
ReplyDeleteI asked Josephine before, she said Master have different color,
they start from white and each grade have different color of belt!
Thanks Baraçal-press ®! I'm glad that you apprecite these pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks tossan! I'm flattered by your compliments!
ReplyDeleteI will keep working hard for photography!

ReplyDeleteI already made some videos but need to arrange it...

Impressive as always :-) I wonder how much it would cost - monthly fees.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex! I don't know how much is the course,
ReplyDeletebut I will ask my friend later...
To Alex, Josephine told me the monthly fee is MOP$500 around 200 Ringgit,
ReplyDeleteand have 3 days practice for a week!
