Langkawi Cable Car & Sky Bridge

This is my second time to visit Langkawi.

Penag - George Town Heritage Part II

邱公司龍山堂（Khoo Kongsi）是邱氏宗祠，建於十九世紀末，

位於打石街（LebuhAceh）附近，建築物至今仍然保持良好。

建築物為古老中國式，仿清朝宮殿而立，祠堂分正中的「正順宮」

和兩側的「福德宮」及「浴谷宮」。

邱氏宗祠又稱「龍山堂」，共分叄部分：中為大廳，供奉大佛爺，

右為邱氏歷代靈牌，左為複印堂，供奉大伯公。

它的底層為專供族人租用與婚宴慶典之用，

宗祠對面有一個舞台，供酬神演大戲之用。

The famous Khoo Kongsi is the grandest clan temple in the country. 

It is also one of the city's major historic attraction. 

The clan temple has retained its authentic historic setting, 

which includes an association building, a traditional theatre and

the late 19th century rowhouses for clan members, all clustered around a granite-paved square.

It is located in Cannon Square in the heart of the oldest part of the city of George Town,

in the midst of narrow, winding lanes and quaint-looking

pre-War houses exuding a palpable old world charm.

Penag - George Town Heritage Part I

這次是我第二次到檳城旅遊,

再次來到喬治城, 感覺煥然一新!

因為很多建築都經過修復, 美麗多了!

這裡有很多令人難忘的文化遺產,

大家一起欣賞吧!

Came to George Town once again, feel brand new!

Because a lot of buildings have been restored, so beautiful!

Penang – Bukit Bendera

在復活節假期, 我到了檳城和浮羅交怡旅遊。

這次也拍了不少照片, Bukit Bendera檳城山

是我喜歡的其中一個地方, 現在分享一些照片吧!

During the Easter holidays, I went to Penang and Langkawi.

I also took a lot of photos in this trip, the Bukit Bendera Penang Hill

is one of the places that I like, here are some pictures I want to share!

Enjoy Melaka

在吉隆坡的旅程當中, 還到了一個很特別的地方, 就是馬六甲!

馬六甲先後受到葡萄牙、荷蘭及英國的殖民統治。

馬六甲的歷史遺跡，分別坐落在城市廣場及靠近河邊的噴水池一帶。

城市廣場在往前一點，即是聖保羅山，這裏是葡萄牙的 A'FAMOSA 聖地牙哥城

堡及聖保羅教堂的所在地。在舊城區也可以發現一些寺廟及清真寺。

馬六甲真是一個很有特色的地方!

When I went to KL, I also visited a very special place - Melaka (Malacca)!

Melaka was a colony of the Portuguese, Dutch and British.

Melaka's historical heritage is located in the Town Plaza,

near the fountain along the river.

In front of the Town Plaza,  is St. Pauls Hill. This is where the Portuguese

A'FAMOSA San Diego Fort and St. Paul's Church is.

You can also find a number of temples and mosques in the Old Town.

Melaka is really a very unique place!

The Petronas Twin Towers

雙峰塔（英語：Petronas Twin Towers，Kuala Lumpur City Centre，KLCC）別稱佩重納斯大廈、

國家石油大廈、國油雙塔及雙子塔等，是兩棟位於馬來西亞吉隆坡市中心的摩天大樓，

曾經是世界最高的摩天大樓，直到2003年10月17日被位於台灣台北的台北101超越，

但仍是目前世界最高的雙棟大樓，也是世界第五高的大樓，樓高452米，共地上88層，

由美國建築設計師西薩·佩里（Cesar Pelli）所設計的大樓表面大量使用了不銹鋼與玻璃等材質，

並輔以伊斯蘭藝術風格的造型，反映出馬來西亞的伊斯蘭文化傳統。

雙峰塔與鄰近的吉隆坡塔同為吉隆坡的知名地標及象徵。

根據高層建築暨都市集居委員會（CTBUH）在1997年7月10日所宣佈的四種高樓評定標準：

「結構體或建築頂部高度」、「最高的使用樓層高度」、「屋頂高度」及「天線高度」，

一般認為最高的建築排名是指結構體或建築頂部高度而言。

馬來西亞國家石油公司(Petronas)建造了世界最高大廈。雖然其它大廈譬如西爾斯大樓有更高的
可使用樓地板，一個更高的天線，和一個更高的屋頂。但一般認為最高的摩天大樓是
擁有452米(1483 英尺)的尖頂的雙峰塔──直至被臺北101超越。

克萊斯勒大廈被認為是首度使用尖頂以增加超高層建築物高度的例子。克萊斯勒大廈

與曼哈頓銀行大廈同時興建，克萊斯勒大廈在接近完工時，升起了秘密架設的尖頂，

大幅超越曼哈頓銀行大廈的高度。

he Petronas Towers (Malay: Menara Petronas, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers 

or Menara Berkembar Petronas in Malay) are skyscrapers and twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

According to the CTBUH's official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004

 until surpassed by Taipei 101, but remain the tallest twin buildings in the world ever built, surpassing 

the World Trade Center. The building is the landmark of Kuala Lumpur with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

The Petronas Towers were the tallest buildings in the world for six years, until Taipei 101 was completed in 2004.

The height of the towers is measured to the top of their structural components such as spires, but do not include

antennas. Spires are considered actual integral parts of the architectural design of buildings, to which changes

would substantially change the appearance and design of the building, whereas antennas may be added or

removed without such consequences. The Petronas Towers still remain the tallest twin buildings in the world.

Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) and the World Trade Center towers were each constructed with 110 

occupied floors – 22 more than the 88 floors of the Petronas Towers. Willis Tower’s tallest antenna is 75.41 m

(247.4 ft) taller than those of the Petronas Towers, however, in accordance with CTBUH regulations and

guidelines, the antennas of Willis Tower were not counted as part of its architectural features.

The spires on the Petronas Towers are included in the height since they are not antenna masts. 

Therefore, the Petronas Towers exceed the official height of Willis Tower by 10 m (33 ft) even though the

roof of Petronas Towers (378.6 m) is 63.4 m (208 ft) lower than the roof of Willis Tower (442 m).

吉隆坡除了有輕鐵和單軌鐵路，你們也可以坐觀光巴士，

我有兩天都是坐這雙層觀光巴士遊覽這城市，

但到了週末就很煩忙，約需3個小時行走整條路線...

這裡有一些照片，都是我在吉隆坡和KLCC拍的！

KL besides have LRT and Monorail, you can also take the Hop-on Hop-off bus,

I had a city tour on the double decker bus for two days,

but on the weekend is very busy and take around 3 hours for the all route...

大家好！我剛從吉隆坡回來，過了一個很捧的聖誕假期！

這是我第二次到吉隆坡，上一次是三年前。

我已經參觀了一些著名的景點，如吉隆坡塔，吉隆坡國家清真寺清真寺，

舊吉隆坡火車站，印度城，雲頂，時代廣場，天后宮，等等。

所以此行我到所有上一次錯過了的地方，我還到了馬六甲一日遊。

馬六甲真是很漂亮，有很多不同的古建築，我肯定會再次去那裡！

Hi all! I just came back from KL, I had a great X'mas holidays there!

This is the second time I visit to KL, last time was three years ago.

I already visit some famous attractions like KL Tower, Masjid Negara National Mosque,

Old KL Train Station, India Town, Genting, Times Square, Thean Hou Temple, etc.

So this trip I can visit all places I missed last time and I had a day trip to Melaka.

Melaka is very beautiful, have many different old buildings, I'm sure will visit there again!

沙巴的聖誕 X'mas in Sabah

今年的聖誕去了沙巴一個星期, 過了一個陽光與海灘的聖誕,

住在Kota Kinabalu機場附近大約25分鐘車程的Grand Borneo Hotel,

即是1 Borneo Hypermall其中的一間酒店, 這個購物中心十分之大,

有各大名店和食店, 價錢比港澳平宜得多, 當然買了不少東西,

也是每次來馬來西亞的三個主要目標: 拍照, 食, 購物!!

當中, 以購物中心的聖誕裝飾最為吸引, 祝大家新年快樂!
